Gener5tion R5volution

Commissionned by Renault and Havas Play, we created the first multiplayer car race on The Sandbox to gamify Renault’s iconic car, R5, going fully electric.
Highlighting the R5 technology in a vivid universe, to the colours of the car collection, the experience gathers players for a timed parkour. 

It features RENO, the brand’s new AI-driven travel companion, providing a short history of the brand.
The game is part of a cross-platform campaign to present to the new generation the electric version that was once the most famous car in France.

⚠️ Why using social gaming to promote the launch of a new product?

New generations are the perfect reach for new products. 25% of American people born between 1997 and 2010 declare that gaming is the leisure activity to which they devote most time. Besides, gaming is an ideal canal to target the users according to their preferences, here the car lovers audience.

Why? Renault wants to reach a large young audience of car lover to promote its iconic car Renault 5 going fully electric.
