A treasure hunt across virtual worlds to earn a CryptoPunk worth $120,000
We developed the greatest treasure hunt across a diversity of virtual worlds including Decentraland, R3V3NGE, The Sandbox, X (Twitter), The Nemesis.
During 24 weeks, we have unveiled a storytelling, trailers, multifaceted quests for players to guess the 24 words of the seedphrase securing the cryptowallet containing the $120,000 CryptoPunk. The ultimate quest consisted in a self-built and self-published speedrun game.
⚠️ How can a game be played on multiple platforms?
We wrote a storytelling that justifies changing platforms. We created a dedicated X (Twitter) account to centralise the information and links to the platforms. We posted clues for players to guess the platforms in advance, to make the cross-platform aspect part of the game. An active Discord also federated and motivated the community.
Why? bem.builders and Non Fungible Conference founder John Karp want to challenge the interoperability and possibilities of virtual worlds.
